As a Travel Lifestyle Coach and author of “How to Travel the World Without Quitting Your Job,” April D. Thompson gets to the root of why entrepreneurs and 9-5 women want to travel and their true destination in life. Since the age of 1, Ms. Thompson has been a passport carrying globetrotter and lover of all things cultural exploration. In 2011 it lead her to start Absolute Travel Addict. Her writing has appeared in TravelChannel.com, Essence Magazine, Trip Advisor for Business, and USA Today among others. She also leverages 8 years of social business sales and digital marketing experience to help travel brands craft ROI-based online marketing strategies that deliver real world results.

When she’s not involved in travel philanthropy projects you can catch her on villa vacations in Spain, Italian culinary expeditions, and music-centered cultural festivals around the globe. She spends her winters on the island of Jamaica, which holds a special place in her heart.
