I’m not really big on souvenirs. This May, I wrapped another amazing trip to South Africa, one of the highlights being a visit to the Lion Park just outside of Johannesburg. I spent time petting (mostly sleeping) lion cubs and even had some one on one time (well 2 on 1 time counting the trainer) with Sebu one of their cheetahs in the Cheetah experience. Before heading out I joined an hour long tour of the park to get a closer look at the rest of the park’s residents: ostriches, springbok and of course more lions.
